- define the main equilibrium concepts and apply them
- explain the effect of repetition on a game´s outcome
- illustrate the essence of bargaining situations
- use game-theoretic thinking to explain events/ outcomes in the economy and society

**Qualifikationsziele**:
Den Studierenden erhalten fundierte Kenntnisse über natürliche Monopole im Mehrproduktfall, über die Existens von staatlicher Regulierung und über Verhaltensweisen in Oligopolen. Außerdem werden den Studierenden Wissen über die Zusammenhänge zwischen regulatorischen Eingriffen, Wettbewerb und Wohlfahrt vermittelt. Dabei werden perfekt funktionierende Märkte und deren Abweichungen untersucht, staatliche Regulierungen ökonomisch begründet und deren Vor- und Nachteile aufgezeigt.
